Start a commission
Most of what leaves the studio was made for one person. A commission starts with a conversation, not a contract.
How it begins
Write to the studio with whatever you have: a stone you own, a sketch, a photograph, or only a feeling about color. A person answers within a day.
The sketch
We draw before we build. You approve the sketch, the stone, and the exact price before any metal is touched. Two revisions are included; most need one.
The making
Six to ten weeks at the bench for most works. You receive photographs at the milestones: stone chosen, wax approved, casting, setting, finishing.
What it costs
Commissions begin around $1,800 with the stone. Half is due at the sketch, half at delivery. If we are resetting a stone you already own, the beginning is lower.
