A lab grown diamond is diamond. Same crystal structure, same hardness, same refraction, grown in a reactor rather than a craton. It is not an imitation and we will never sell it as second best. It is a different origin story at a different price, and the choice between the two is yours to make with real numbers in front of you.

A seed of diamond goes into a chamber with carbon gas and heat. Layers build over several weeks until the crystal is large enough to cut. The result is a real diamond with a growth history you can read under magnification, which is exactly how the labs tell them apart.
What we hold back
We do not stock lab stones with heavy post growth treatment that we cannot document. If a stone was color treated after growth, that goes on the passport in the same size type as everything else.
