Diamond shape guide
Shape is the outline. Cut is the quality of the work inside it. The twelve shapes we stock, and what each one is actually good at.
Start with the hand
Long shapes, oval, pear, marquise and elongated cushion, lengthen the finger and wear larger per carat. Square shapes, princess, asscher and cushion, read solid and modern. Round sits in the middle and never dates.
Then think about wear
Points and sharp corners chip. If you work with your hands, a bezel or a protective prong is not a style choice, it is the difference between a ring you wear and a ring you keep in a drawer.
