How to choose a necklace
Length is the whole look
16 inches sits at the collarbone, 18 at the first button, 20 and up reads as a layer. Measure a chain you already love.
One pendant or a layer
A single stone on a fine chain works every day; layers want mixed lengths two inches apart so they never tangle.
Chain gauge matters more than metal
Under 1.2 mm kinks with daily wear. Ours start at 1.4 mm for anything carrying a stone.
Clasps are a daily ritual
Lobster clasps for security, slider bolos for one-handed dressing. We fit either at the same price.

READING THE CUT
On the cut
Cushion flatters saturated color; it is where we put our best sapphires.
Fit before beauty

Cushion or round for a sapphire?
Cushion, usually. Its larger facets hold deep color; rounds trade some of that color for glitter.
How much do cushion necklaces cost?
Today, one work at $620. Each is one of a kind, so the page moves as stones sell and new ones are set.
How long until it arrives?
Ready-now works leave the studio within two business days, insured and signed for. Made to order pieces state their bench time on the page, most within three to four weeks.
What if it does not suit?
Thirty days from delivery, in original condition, in the slate box. Resizing is free for life on rings, and any stone we set can be reset into a new mount as taste changes.
