How to choose a necklace
One pendant or a layer
A single stone on a fine chain works every day; layers want mixed lengths two inches apart so they never tangle.
Chain gauge matters more than metal
Under 1.2 mm kinks with daily wear. Ours start at 1.4 mm for anything carrying a stone.
Clasps are a daily ritual
Lobster clasps for security, slider bolos for one-handed dressing. We fit either at the same price.

Matching sets necklaces are made to commission at Made With Color: one artist, one bench, in New York. Ask and we will pull stones in daylight and send passports before you decide. Earrings, pendant, sometimes a ring, cut from sibling stones and finished as one thought.

CHOOSING THE STYLE
On the style
Buy the set when the stones matter; matched color across pieces is rarer than any single stone.

Is a matching set old fashioned?
A full parure worn at once, perhaps. Worn in parts, a set is simply stones that agree, available when the occasion calls all of them.
How long until it arrives?
Ready-now works leave the studio within two business days, insured and signed for. Made to order pieces state their bench time on the page, most within three to four weeks.
What if it does not suit?
Thirty days from delivery, in original condition, in the slate box. Resizing is free for life on rings, and any stone we set can be reset into a new mount as taste changes.
How do these wear?
Sets divide well: the earrings daily, the pendant for evenings, together for occasions.
