16 inches sits at the collarbone, 18 at the first button, 20 and up reads as a layer. Measure a chain you already love.
One pendant or a layer
A single stone on a fine chain works every day; layers want mixed lengths two inches apart so they never tangle.
Chain gauge matters more than metal
Under 1.2 mm kinks with daily wear. Ours start at 1.4 mm for anything carrying a stone.
Clasps are a daily ritual
Lobster clasps for security, slider bolos for one-handed dressing. We fit either at the same price.
